What the Cyrannus Empire is, how it is built, and what a week in it asks of you
The Cyrannus Empire is a Roblox military roleplay community. It lives in a game, where the roleplay happens; on a Discord server, where people talk; in seven Roblox groups, where rank and membership are held; and on this site, which is the register that ties them together and where everything that changes your standing is done.
How it is built
- 01The Cyrannus Empire group is everyone.Being in it is what makes you a member. Your role in it sets your clearance on this site: Enlisted, Officer, Command, Staff, Owner. It is the umbrella over everything below.
- 02The Cyrannus Army is the standing military, and the parent of three branches. The Crownguard protects the throne and its seat. The Military Police keep order in the Army and police the administered districts. The Special Forces are selected operators for what the line cannot carry. Each is a formation of the Army with its own ladder and its own command, and a member of a branch holds an Army posting alongside it.
- 03Two bodies stand outside the Army. The Intelligence Directorate collects, analyses and keeps the Empire safe from within, and answers to the throne. The Political Council is the civil government: it makes policy and may direct the Army without commanding it.
- 04The throne. The High Cyrrarch and the Eternal Emperor, at the top of every group. The throne appoints the Supreme Commander, the Director and the Cyrrarch, holds every power in every group, and is the last word.
- 05The moderation team.Members of the Cyrannus Moderation group. Not a division: a job. They enforce the regulations, hear tickets and appeals, and issue sanctions. They do not promote, and a division's command does not punish.
Rank and clearance
Your rank in a division is its own ladder, read from that division's Roblox group: Recruit to Supreme Commander in the Army and its branches, seven grades in the Directorate, six in the Council. Your clearance on this site is the Empire group's, and decides which records open. The two are separate on purpose; the guide Ranks, promotions and role requests has the detail. What you may do in a division is decided by your rank in that division, and nowhere else.
A week
Officers put events on the Events screen: trainings, patrols, tryouts, operations, inspections, ceremonies, meetings. You say whether you are coming; the host marks who came, and that marking is your activity. A week, Monday to Sunday, asks two events marked present of every member and one hosted of every officer. A week you will miss is a leave, asked for on the Leave screen and decided by your division's command. On Monday the site tells High Command how the week went.
What is expected of you
- 01Turn up to what you said you would.Attendance is what hosts mark, not what you meant to do.
- 02Keep the regulations. Each says who it applies to: conduct, the game, uniform, the chain, Discord, punishments, staff, activity and leave, postings, powers, information, accounts.
- 03Use the chain.Orders come down it; concerns go up it. The guide Chain of command, in practice says what that looks like.
- 04Stay in character where the roleplay is.The game chat is the radio when you are in uniform; the talking is on Discord.
What you get
A record: your profile shows your postings, your events, your time in role, your commendations, and anything against you, all of it yours to read on your account. A career: promotions decided inside your division, on what you did, with the reason written. A place: a branch to serve in, a Council to argue in, a Directorate to keep secrets in. And a say: the Council hears business from any member, and Support hears anything the rest does not.
Where to ask
The search, from any screen, in your own words: the slash key or Command K. Your sergeant, or whoever took you when you arrived. The division's channel on Discord for its business, and #questions for everyone's. A support ticket for anything about a person, a punishment or your account. The handbook for how a thing works, and the regulations for whether it is allowed.
