Two ladders, where a promotion is made, and how it reaches Discord
There are two ladders and they are deliberately separate. The branch ladder is the ten tier structure on the Ranks screen: Recruit to Supreme Commander, read through each division's own column. That is your rank in the Empire's story. Site clearance is the six step ladder in Your account and clearance; it decides which records open. A branch rank never grants clearance on its own.
Where a promotion is made
- 01The command of a group sets roles in it from the Command Center.Rank 251 and above in a division's own group (General, Commander, Section Chief, Councilor and Delegate and above), or High Command in the Empire group for the Empire's own roles. Open the group's card, pick a member and pick the role. Save changes the role on Roblox, then the site and Discord follow in the same moment.
- 02Officers request, the command grants.Rank 248 and above in the division's group (Lieutenant and above), or Command in the Empire group, can ask for a role change on the same screen. The request waits on the group's Requests tab until its command grants it, or declines it with a note.
- 03Nobody reaches up.Only members below your own role in that group, only roles below your own there, and nobody above you in the Empire. The rule is applied when the change is made, from what Roblox says at that moment.
- 04Everything is logged.Who changed what, from what to what, and why, on the audit log and in #rank-logs on Discord. A request records who asked and who decided.
How it reaches you
A role set from the Command Center reaches your account and your Discord roles at once. A role set directly on Roblox reaches them the next time you sign in or press Refresh from Roblox. Your Discord tier role follows the highest tier you hold in any division.
Commendations
Staff can add a commendation to a member's record from the member's file: a title, a line about what for, and who gave it. Commendations show on your profile and your account and are told to #rank-logs.
