Candidate to Supreme Commander: what each rank does, and how one moves up
The Special Forces read the ten tier ladder through their own column. The ranks are small in number and close together; most of the division's life happens between Operator and Team Leader.
The ranks
- 01Candidate.Passed selection, serving the Candidate period. Trains with a team, goes on no operation as a principal, and can be returned to the line at any point.
- 02Junior Operator. An operator on a team, under a Senior Operator. Goes on operations; does not lead a part of one.
- 03Operator.A full operator. Leads a pair on an operation and takes a Candidate in training.
- 04Senior Operator. The team's second. Leads the team when the Team Leader is down or away, and runs its training.
- 05Team Leader. The first officer. Commands a team on an operation, briefs it, closes it with the report, and requests advancement for the team on the site. Hosts the division's trainings.
- 06Captain.Commands the Special Forces on an operation with more than one team, and trains the Team Leaders.
- 07Deputy Commander.Deputy to the Commander. Runs the week and the selection calendar; keeps the operation reports.
- 08Commander.The command of the Special Forces. Sets roles below their own, decides requests, selection and leave, and speaks for the division to the Army's command and the throne.
- 09Sector Commander.Senior command, held as the same post across the Army's branches. May order a member out of the Special Forces.
- 10Supreme Commander. The head of every branch, appointed by the Eternal Emperor.
On the site, an officer of the division (rank 248 and above in its Roblox group) may request a role change for someone below them; the command (rank 251 and above) sets roles, decides requests, leave and applications, and opens the group's door; the senior command (rank 252 and above) may also order a member out of the group. Nobody acts on anyone at or above their own role, nor above them in the Empire. An officer is also given Command in the Cyrannus Empire group, which opens hosting and the Command Center.
Advancement
- 01Operations are the measure. How many the operator went on, what the Team Leader wrote about them afterwards, and whether the team would take them again. Events marked present at, time in the role and a clean record, as everywhere.
- 02Candidate to Junior Operator at the end of the Candidate period.Three weeks, four trainings and one operation as an attached observer, and the team's word. Junior Operator to Operator after a month and two operations. Above that, when a team needs a second or a leader.
- 03The Commander advances; the Team Leaders request. With a reason on the site that names the operations. Nothing is advanced on training alone.
- 04Returned to the line is not a demotion. An operator who cannot keep the training goes back to their Army rank, with thanks. One who breaks an operation's secrecy or leaves a team on the ground is removed from the Special Forces, on the record.
