The Present Crisis

This is where the current story begins.

The New World Order is no longer a stable regime. Across the world, protest is escalating into riot. Riot is hardening into rebellion. Rebellion is crossing into organised armed conflict. The state is answering with progressively harsher internal security measures.

Neither side regards itself as the villain. Each believes it is fighting for humanity's future. Ordinary people occupy the ground between those two claims.

This is not only a war between soldiers and rebels. It is a contest over what humanity is permitted to become.
