Applies to everyone

Some of what the Empire does is meant to be seen, and some is not. These rules say which is which, and what happens to someone who moves a thing from one to the other.

1. 01Nothing about a real person, ever.No names, faces, addresses, schools, other accounts, or anything else about the person behind an account: not gathered, not held, not shared, not hinted at. In game, on Discord, on the site or anywhere else. A permanent ban on the first offence, in game and on the site, and the moderation team does not need to be asked twice.
2. 02What is said in a ticket stays in the ticket.A member does not post their ticket in a channel; staff do not quote one to anyone outside the team. An appeal is between the member and the team that hears it.
3. 03A division's internal channels and documents are the division's.Standing orders marked for a division's members, a division's channel on the server, the Directorate's own address: read by those they are for, and not carried out. Screenshots of them count as carrying them out.
4. 04An operation is not discussed outside its team until its report is posted.Then the report is what happened. A team's radio, brief and channel stay in the team afterwards.
5. 05Staff notes, the audit log and the member files are the moderation team's.A member sees their own record on their account, in full. Nobody else's is described to them, by anyone.
6. 06What is public is public.The regulations, the handbook, the divisions' charters, the roster's names and ranks, the events and who hosted them. Quote them freely; they are meant to be read.
7. 07A leak is reported, not repeated.Someone who sees something shared that should not have been tells the moderation team in a ticket, and does not pass it further. Passing it further is the same offence.
