Cadet to Supreme Commander: what each rank does, and how one moves up

The Military Police read the ten tier ladder through their own column. A rank here is a measure of how much judgment the division trusts you with.

The ranks

1. 01Cadet.New to the Military Police. Learns the regulations by heart and the arrest procedure by doing it beside a Trooper. Does not arrest alone.
2. 02Trooper.A police officer of the line. Patrols, stops, arrests and reports, alone or in a pair.
3. 03Corporal.Leads a pair or a checkpoint. Takes the Cadets. The first rank that decides whether an arrest stands or the person is let go.
4. 04Sergeant.Runs a patrol or a post: where the Troopers are, what they are looking for, what they do with whom they take. Reviews every arrest report before it goes up.
5. 05Lieutenant.The first officer. Hosts the division's trainings and patrols, requests promotions on the site, and answers for the fairness of the arrests made under them.
6. 06Captain.Commands the Military Police on a day or on an operation, and trains the Lieutenants. Hears complaints about an arrest before they go further.
7. 07Deputy Commander.Deputy to the Commander. Runs the week, keeps the reports, watches who is quiet and who is heavy-handed.
8. 08Commander.The command of the Military Police. Sets roles below their own, decides requests, applications and leave, and answers to the Army's command.
9. 09Sector Commander.Senior command, held as the same post across the Army's branches. May order a member out of the Military Police.
10. 10Supreme Commander.The head of every branch, appointed by the Eternal Emperor.

On the site, an officer of the division (rank 248 and above in its Roblox group) may request a role change for someone below them; the command (rank 251 and above) sets roles, decides requests, leave and applications, and opens the group's door; the senior command (rank 252 and above) may also order a member out of the group. Nobody acts on anyone at or above their own role, nor above them in the Empire. An officer is also given Command in the Cyrannus Empire group, which opens hosting and the Command Center.

Promotion

1. 01Judgment is what is promoted.Not the number of arrests. Events marked present at, time in the role, reports that read fairly, complaints that did not stand, and a clean record.
2. 02Cadet to Trooper after the first two weeks and a test on the regulations.Trooper to Corporal after three weeks and no complaint upheld. Corporal to Sergeant after a month running a post. Above that, the command's judgment and the division's need.
3. 03The Commander promotes; the officers request.With a reason on the site. An officer who requests a promotion for someone with an open complaint says so in the reason.
4. 04A wrongful arrest is a demotion, said to the member.One made without the reason stated, or with force before refusal, or on someone outside the division's authority. On the record, with the reason.
