Selection from the Army, the tryout, and the Initiate's weeks
The Crownguard selects from the Army. It looks for the soldier who can stand still, keep quiet, and do exactly what they were told for as long as it takes, and who is around when the throne is.
Who may apply
- 01A Private or above in the Cyrannus Army.A Recruit applies once they are a Private. The Army posting is kept.
- 02No sanction on the record in the last month.A guard stands next to the throne. The record is read.
- 03Around when it matters. The application asks when you are usually about. The guard needs people at the hours the throne keeps, and says so honestly if yours do not fit.
How
- 01Apply from the Crownguard's page, and ask to join its Roblox group. The three answers, then the join request. The command reads the answers before the tryout.
- 02Come to a tryout.Tryouts are on the Events screen, marked for the Crownguard. Say you are coming. Uniform, on time, weapon lowered.
- 03What is tested.Standing a post for the length of the tryout without moving or speaking out of turn. Following a detail's movement. Taking a correction without argument. The command marks who passed as who came.
- 04Accepted, you are an Initiate.Your join request is approved, your posting appears, and a Senior Guard is named to take you. Declined, you are told why and may try again in seven days.
The Initiate's month
Four trainings and the outer posts, under a Senior Guard. An Initiate does not stand next to the principal and does not speak to anyone approaching the detail. 2 events marked present at a week, and for officers 1 hosted. Leave of up to 3 days is noted on the spot; longer, up to 14 days, waits on the division's command. At the end of the month the Senior Guard says whether the Initiate is a Guard, and the command decides. An Initiate who leaves a post is returned to the line the same day.
